I think I gravitate towards small ingredient lists that impart intense flavor. I’m a minimalist with high-maintenance taste buds! First, I naturally love no fuss recipes, but flavor is so important. Food has to be deliriously delicious while being nutritious. This way, you get the benefit of health plus joy from your meal. It’s a win-win.

Why This Easy Smoky Chickpeas Recipe Rocks

First, this recipe is a template (see below). There are so many ways to dress up these chickpeas that you’ll never run out of variations.

Secondly, they’re easy-going. They get sprinkled over avocado toasts, over salads, over roasted veggies, thrown in a wrap with vegan mayo and loads of kale, or paired with a green salad. If you’re looking for a texture contrast, sprinkle them over a soup. Or, throw them in a baggie and take them on a hike. Yes, they’re that friendly! I promise.

Lastly, the recipe is easy but it imparts loads of flavor. So you can make it in a jiffy, then live the rest of your life, get outside, tend to your hobbies. This recipe is done in a flash.
